A romantic's vision, Rain Cast depicts a city by a stormy sea, accompanied by evocative music. The animation is smooth and pretty, giving what could be a static urban setting an organic life. Even the clock on one of the buildings keeps the current time.

In part because the cityscape is always changing, users have few options to control. The sound can be muted, and one setting will prevent mouse movements from stopping the screensaver. If you're looking for something to fire your imagination during your computer's off moments, this may well be worth a look.

Absolutely love this screensaver! The sound of the thunder and the rain falling and even the raindrops hitting the window (the computer screen) are great!!! I think the clock is neat too...keeping in time w/the real-time computer clock...
Cons
The only thing that would add to this would be putting traffic on the highway below every once in a while...

This screensaver works great!! The rain falling and the raindrops hitting the screen are perfect. The soft backgound music and the blinking lights on top of the buildings and in the windows make this a super screensaver! So cozy....with the thunder and the rain....

music is very relaxing. Watching rain fall /hit the screen is excellent. lights go on and off in the building acros the bridge. not much motion anywhere else. sounds of rain/ occasional thunder. Wish it would thunder more often .
Cons
not much movement to look at. thunder is far and wide apart but still a nice screensaver some people may get bored after a while.WIsh a car would drive over that bridge! but a nice scene anyway.
Summary
cute enjoyable for a good 10 mins at least. Worth the download. I like it and play it once in awhile.
Attractive & it has a digital clock

Pros
I was looking for a screensaver that would display the current time IN DIGITAL format; this does that AND it's free. I like that it's attractive, with a nicely rendered backdrop and animation.
Cons
The clock doesn't display the time as cleanly as it could (there are no leading zeros for minutes/seconds). For example, 14:08:05 is displayed as 14:8:5. I'd also be interested in (1) a larger clock or size options, or (2) multiple clocks.
Summary
The price is right, it works, and doesn't cause any problems! It looks nice and performs as advertised. THANKS MetalTear for a very nice piece of software!

This Screensaver reminds me of My Grandma that passed away in Cincinnati Ohio Hospital I drove over 300 miles to that city to see her.With the city backround it just remindes me of driving up there that night.

It has a good backdrop and some decent effects, and the cherry-on-top is a great song(non-lyric) in the background that fits it well. <p>[The song is 'Everlasting' by <p>'Evanescence']
Cons
My only complaint is the falling rain effect, the raindrops that are falling are just simple white lines that seem cheap and out of place next to the other effects. Annoying, but not a deal-breaker.

The music is sensational, does anyone know what song it is? I'd love to buy a copy of that song, to play in the car. The skyline is very good too, realistic raindrops and gentle moon in the background.

I dont want to turn it off, so I struggle to get my work done...lol
