Personally, I love this widget
ignatz97- Pros

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This is one of the very first widgets I ever downloaded, and I use it constantly. I occasionally get a frozen frame, or the prefs get somehow lost, but this is not a complicated app to figure out. For a free one, I get amazing use out of it. Thanks very much to the developer.
The ''Ghost Buttons'' are still ''haunting''

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
The button bar beneath the widget/map displays constantly and fine until the mouse/cursor sweeps over it, then it disappears and in moments a ''ghost'' of either the ''300'' or '+'' (or both) button begins to appear and ruins the clean display of the map. I canvassed every one of my Mac using friends, from G4 to the latest Intel -- all still have this same issue. I really wish the developer would take just a little time and fix this longstanding issue. I know the map-retrieval issues are more important, but by cleaning up this appearance glitch, this widget would overall have a polished professional appearance and be fit to include on the lobby monitor ''widget screen'' I keep for clients visiting. Oh, and also, clicking the ''+'' button does not open another instance of the widget, rather it does nothing and I still have to go to the bottom of the widget screen to the main widget panel to open another instance.
Still the Best

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Version 2.5.3 fixes a change in the graphics and is still the best, offering views of area and regional weather patterns in formats ranging from satellite visual to infrared moisture. Automatically rotate amongst your choice of maps. The widget allows you to expand the size of its window for better detail.

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I have to say, this is one of my absolute favorite widgets! Being a pilot, weather is important to me. Being able to easily call up NOAA or Weather Channel maps is essential. Now this version gives us the ability to rotate through various saved maps! This widget just keeps getting better and better. Kudos to the author for creating something so useful! Thank you.
So far works great

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
So far this widget is one of my favorites. As a biker I like to know what I am in for. I actually use the saved images as my desktop as well and then have them change frequently. This part is a bit silly, but I like that I can do it.
My Favorite Widget!
