QuizFaber Is a freeware software for Windows that enables you to create multimedia quizzes as HTML documents. This program simplifies quiz-making in HTML without any prior knowledge of HTML or JavaScript.The quiz is ready to be published on Internet, in a local network (with Intranet protocol) or on a local PC.It is possible to create and manage many types of questions:questions with multiple choice, questions with multiple answers, true or false questions, questions with open answer,gap filling exercises, matching words.It can be fully customize for the choice of background images, colors, sounds and font types.The quiz result can be saved on a web server, send through email, stored on the Google cloud (Google Drive) or into internal server.It allows to embed into quizzes multimedia objects as images, sounds and videos, since it is compatible with the more widespread Internet formats (JPEG, GIF, MID, MP3, AVI, MPEG), also with Macromedia Flash, Apple QuickTime, Liveupdate Crescendo, RealAudio, RealMedia browser plug-in.In these last years, QuizFaber has become a worldwide software. With the free contribution of its users, it produces quizzes in Croatian, Dutch, English, French, Galicien, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Rumanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish.The quiz can be easily printed or exported in many format, like PDF , Excel , Word (RTF).Finally, the quiz can be exported into Moodle e-learning platform or imported from Moodle XML format.

Easy to use interface, even the non english language boxes were easy to understand.
Cons
The html quizzes it generates wouldn't work in IE or Firefox. They would display but you couldn't enter the information in and score them. Not all the dialog boxes were in English.
Summary
if you're looking for something to generate html quizzes look elsewhere.
Works fine until you generate HTML quizzes.

I'm a teacher of English as a Second Language and I use ICT technology quite frequently in the classroom. I'm also involved in teacher-training programs. I really like QuizFaber. I like its simplicity and usability, and the fact that it runs on low-end pcs (mine is!). Compared with Hot Potatoes, another program I have used, it generates the same type of quizzes, while adding nice extras such as the abstract maker and send-result-to-teacher!

I only wish I could choose VBS or PHP as finale code instead of JavaScript.
