Quickhead-E is a timesaving program that monitors your e-mail accounts and downloads the header portion of new mail in the background of your PC. When new message headers are delivered, you are notified of their arrival. Then, using the main program window, you have the options to mark unwanted messages for deletion and to preview important messages ahead of other mail. If you are away from your machine when new mail arrives, a cumulative summary of all new mail received during that period will be displayed for you upon your return. If more than one account contains new mail, you can instantly switch between your mailboxes to review any messages contained in a particular account. With Quickhead-E, you can stay on top of your e-mail and never download an undesired message again. Quickhead-E contains provisions for multiple e-mail accounts, and includes net detection, background checking, instant message downloading and deleting, HTML-encoded or Outlook-enabled message viewing, and constant mailbox status updates. Significant changes in this release include a completely redesigned main program interface, improved customization options, and support for Hotmail.

Only download the headers. I had over 2100 messages in my inbox and it NEVER finished downloading them. This is a POS software and had no option not to download the whole message.
Looks pretty good, however it's slow

I'm running XP Pro and the program ran kind of slow downloading the headers, it downloaded 844 headers in about 4 minutes. Something that eremover can do in only about 20 seconds. Program is nicely created, looks like you have to manually select each email to delete, and not able to select all, then delete. Better than others, but I'll stick to eremover.

It worked at first and was easy to setup, but then it quit working so well. It would not delete when I told it to delete. Maybe I just wasn't doing it right, but it did not work for me.

We received an unsolicited email which was either corrupt or too large. While it remained in the ISP mailbox, we could not download other email without this rogue one causing the line to drop. We downloaded QuickHead & used it to delete this item & all was ok after that.

After downloading this program, the icon kept disappearing from the systems tray and it didn't sync up with my hotmail account. The goal of the software is great, but it's a shame that it doesn't do what it says.
No IMAP interface only POP3!!

Great looking email program. And I almost got exited until I discovered that IMAP support was not included :-( I will be using it if IMAP support comes around. A whole lot more sexy that Eudora and the lot. And then it's FREE!!!

Installation was very easy. However after it was installed I noticed that I wasn't receiving anymore email and could not connect to the internet. I had to uninstall the program to get my email and internst programs back to normal.
