  Pros

  I especially like the ability to copy a filename and/or path to the clipboard. Before I had to go through the motions of attempting to rename a file by slow double-clicking/highlighting the name/ctrl-c/clicking outside the box (de-select) to get it to the clipboard. And you couldn't do this at all with full pathnames.

  Cons

  The "delete" icons are a little ugly, but I can live with that.

  Pros

  1. Tabs built on top of the native files explorer, which means the stable functionality (and the great looks) remain while some good stuff is added. Both xyplorer and 2xplorer lack in the design department. 2. Search box that lets you quickly filter out files whose filename contain specific letters (super convenient, much faster and smoother than the native search in explorer which also shows you all the files that actually contain those letter inside the files - not in their names) 3. Double click on the white space inside a folder to go one level up. This is sooooo useful, how come this simple feature is not implemented in Windows by default? 4. A quick-access pad - you can now throw files/folders that you use frequently into this pane - a very useful new feature 5. Previews when mouse over, folder previews, etc 6. It's free while gives so much more functionality and productivity! It could easily be priced as half of the price of Win8

  Cons

  The tabs aesthetics is a bit lacking. Still, your explorer window with these tabs will look much better that that of XYplorer, 2Xplorer, Cubic explorer, etc. For some reason they are all indescribably fugly.

  Summary

  I used it in XP (worked like charm) - you have to play a bit with the settings to capture new explorer instances. But after that you can't understand how you lived without this tool. Now I'm using qttabbar v65 on Windows 7 and can't be happier: new features were added that make my experience even better!

  Pros

  Great with Win 7, feels like browsing while in Windows Explorer, bye bye lots of windows opened for Win Explorer

  None, but it does slow my Win Exp a lil bit

  none. it simply doesn't add anything.

  Cons

  no functionality. folders open with the folder name in the taskbar tab. but opening another folder creates a new isolated "tabbed" window. will not open new folder into the current window as a tab.

  Summary

  xp users should go with Clover.
