QR Code Reader and Scanner for iOS

QR Code Reader and Scanner scans and translates any barcode or QR code, keeps track of the items you've scanned, and lets you create your own. No matter where you are or what you're trying to scan, this handy app will quickly recognize the code, capture it, and provide all relevant data associated with it.

When you open the app, you'll see a toolbar across the bottom of the screen that provides access to the various app features. To scan an item, just tap the QR code icon in the middle of this toolbar, and the camera will open. Position the box displayed in the camera interface over the barcode or QR code you want to scan, and the app will automatically focus and record the data. Next, a pop-up window will appear telling you what you've scanned and asking if you'd like to download another app to view the cheapest prices for that item online and locally to you. This happens every time you scan a barcode, so it can get a little tiresome if you're not interested in taking advantage of that particular feature. Each item you scan is recorded in a list that you can access through the history tab, and scanning QR codes takes you straight to the linked URL.

You can also create your own QR codes and share them through the app by just selecting the create tab and entering the URL you'd like your QR code to link to. The app then generates the code, and you can either view it, or share it via Facebook, email, or SMS. This app is free, and its streamlined interface makes accessing all of the features quick and painless.
