• Great features and few problems

  Pros

  Great set of features for the price and simple to use. Support has been very helpful and shows interest in making a great product better. I was so impressed I bought it.

  Cons

  Trial version crashed a lot at first, until I realised that a photo I tried to add to a show was causing the problem. I simply opened the photo in an editor, tweaked it and resaved. I could then use that photo and have had no problems since.

  Many bugs in the audio track. <p>NO SERIOUS SUPPORT ! <p>They don't answer to e-mail unless you phone. <p>They don't come back to you with answers.

• Great way to watch your digital pictures

  It has a wealth of options, so a little learning to try out the various features. I wrote 2 discs I could watch (one for family vacation and another for friends) and it was great to watch on the widescreen Sony we have. My wife had her 12 friends over for "Bunco" night and they all loved the digital photos that faded in and phased out during the evening. Proshow uses the DVD writer to create the video shows on a cheap ole CD disc at 10 cents each (less than the DVD discs at say $1.50 to $2.00 each). What a great little investment.

• Best slide show product I have found

  I have made several slideshows now with ProShow and was amazed at the quailty of the results. Most were 30-45 minutes long complete with Title screens, graphics, sounds and music syncronized to the slide show. I then burned the show on to CD's That will play on any DVD player.I had no problems at all, It took me several days to get used to it's many features. I think it was $30 well spent

  Download this free trial and judge for yourself if you want to spend $70 on software that has more bugs than a landfill: Almost every time you are in the middle of the creation of a slideshow the system crashes. And if you are done with your slideshow and try to play it on your computer (i.e. in *.exe format) the application crashes. And when photdex releases a new fix you have to download and install the whole software again, no updates like you are used to with WinXP. This is pretty annoying. Besides that, I was able to burn a couple DVDs that actually worked. I hope the photodex developers will fix the issues since the application is pretty neat - if you ignore the crashes )and has a lot of features that I haven't found in other slideshow programs

  I tried again and again to get help but photodex only takes your money. The program does not work. The slide show runs fast and then slow and out of sync with the audio, or, it crashes and you loose all your work. Skip it.
