  I would have rated it a 5, but out of respect for EA's Dpaint, I left it at 4. It is almost exactly like the original program but it has expanded in some interesting ways. Having spent thousands of hours on the original, I'm looking forward to doing the same on this new, suped-up XP version!!!

  Not many....as I just started using it. I have been surprised at the 256 color limit on anim frames....but maybe its just that I haven't figured it out yet.

  Pros

  This is an extremely powerful program to use but EASY to learn. If you are looking for a job in the game industry (especially for portable game devices like cell phones and GBA) then it will be very beneficial for you to learn PROMOTION. It is used extensively by Pro's in the industry (including myself) and makes many difficult tasks much easier and faster. Its got incredible features for Tile-making and animating and so much more. <p> <p>The price is also amazingly reasonable!
