We have to admit that we are somewhat impatient by nature, and we absolutely hate photo editing of any sort. It just seems so tedious to us, even when it comes to basic tasks like resizing images. For that reason, we love Prish Image Resizer. Now, instead of opening a separate program, loading our image, and tinkering with the dimensions, we can resize images with a couple of mouse clicks.

The program doesn't have an interface per se; instead, it appears in the context menu whenever you right-click on an image in Windows Explorer. It adds two options to this menu: Copy Picture and Prish Resizer. Choosing the first option copies the image to the clipboard, either at its original size or resized to 1024, 800, 640, or 320 pixels horizontally. The second option creates a new image, resized to any of the previously mentioned sizes or to a custom size. This option offers several types of customization; you can choose whether to overwrite the original file, save the new file in another location, or create a new file name by adding specified text to the original file name. The program also enables you to adjust JPEG quality. The program loses points for not having a Help file, but it's pretty easy to use, even for people who aren't very knowledgeable about image editing. Overall, we like Prish Image Resizer a lot; we were afraid it would be just another resizer, but it integrates resizing into Explorer in a way we hadn't seen before.

Prish Image Resizer installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.

it install ok, and gives you the option to decline the bundeled games.
Cons
It does not work at all. It is suposed to add 2 options to the right click menue of a picture or selection of pictures. It does not. nothing was added even after a reboot. The progam does have an aplication, but this does not work either. it just sits there scannin the folder containing 4 pictures and throws an error when you click continue.

total crap. dont install it.
Best resizer that I have used for Win7/Win8.

Easy installation. Easy usage. I like the way it will put the resized images into a self-created folder named, oddly enough, "Resized", in the same folder as the original images. The "Hand Mirror" tool is good for resizing an entire folder - for example, a folder of over 800 high resolution images can be resized - the images, not the folder - in about 55 seconds. That is reducing from an average image size of 8 mbytes to 80 kbytes. Very nice.

This program adds functionality that SHOULD HAVE BEEN included with Windows XP and Windows 7. Installs in seconds, and then appears in the dialog box when any photo is right-clicked - no need to open another program or window to make it work. It's almost exactly like the Windows XP "Powertoy" that so many of us used, but it also works in W7. Thanks to the developer for answering the question that Microsoft refuses even to hear!

Prish Image Resizer is a new "Power Toy" replacement for Windows Vista/7/XP. It allows you to resize images using the right-click menu. Right-clicking on an image (or a group of images) will bring up an extra two options - "Copy Picture" and "Prish Resizer". The "Copy Picture" option allows you to copy the image directly from explorer to the clipboard. This way, you can copy & paste directly from explorer w/o having to go through file menus of your application. Current build adds custom resize to context menu.
