I remember using a very convenient print-control browser add-on, and I thought it was printwhatyoulike. The add-on placed a button on a toolbar that gave one-click access to the function. However, as I read the current website that a browser button is not available. The process of copying and pasting a url onto the printwhatyoulike website is much less convenient than a simple browser button. I am unlikely to use this function as a web service. If the browser add-on exists, somehow its availability is not obvious.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 27, 2016<p/>Addendum: Found the "bookmarklet". Installs on browser favorites toolbar (which I don't usually display). After using it awhile, I find that it only works on some websites. If I could change my rating, I'd increase it to 3 stars.

Pros
When it works its great! Print only what you like, get rid of ads and banners and sidebars. No risk, nothing to download. Just bookmark the site, hit the "try it" section and substitue your website address into the URL.
Cons
Now if it would work on all web pages, that would be great!

Pros
Very simple to use. Allows me to edit, then print only the wanted parts of a web page. I particularly like the fact that I can also enlarge the text, change the font etc.
Cons
I have found no Cons.
Summary
The easiest way to use the programme is to save the PrintWhatYouLike Bookmarklet to your Bookmarks, then when you are on the web page you wish to edit and print - just one left click on this bookmarklet will place the programme ready to use on the left side of the target web page.

Summary
This little script is exactly what I've been looking for. I print a lot of articles to share with friends and also a lot of recipes for myself to use in the kitchen. It is so much nicer not to have to print up all the extra junk that I don't need. I can make the print larger for easier reading (which is perfect for the recipes) and not have to skip around looking for where the advertising stops and the article begins. Thank you so much for this great utility.

I have firefox browser. Tried using the url for mapquest.com and for Yahoo.com. Copied and pasted the url to the browser,,,got the print what you like page but NO map!!! Acutally NO nothing!! I could move a curser box around a blank page....what???
Summary
If I ever get the program to work with mapquest and other sites I will let you know.

The "test me" worked wonderfully; The ability to change type & font size to printer extremely valuable
Cons
(a)Not a techie I can't figure if this is a download deal or on web click the link (b) I entered the url of Wall Street Journal article. Print it Now provided only the first three paragraphs, Apparently WSJ (and others?) thwart this product

Cannot work out how to apply the bookmarklet facility so that I can launch it from within a page I wish to edit.
