Port inspector is a simple TCP/UDP port scanner for determining if remote network end points are listening on a particular TCP or UDP port. It is harder to accurately determine whether or not an endpoint is listening on a UDP port due to the nature of the UDP protocol. The application is designed to assist network administrators and server software developers in troubleshooting network and firewall issues.
