  loads with lots of crapware, and wont work after install says connecting then nothing home page for the software has been removed. just a spambot vessel AVOID!!!!

  Nothing. Nothing but unwanted programs installed.

  Cons

  Even though I chose options not to install their toolbar and other spam apps, they still installed. I tried deleting them in programs. My internet wouldn't open after that so I had to do a system restore.

  Summary

  Look elsewhere. This download shouldn't be on cnet.

  I'm not a big fan of the internet explorer and I refuse to use it as my browser. To many updates and a lot of them are unnecessary unless if you are a beginner. The so call police scanner only work with internet explorer or fire fox and all those that are connected to internet explorer. So bottom line is I don't care for anything that want let me have full access and tell me what it thinks I should do. It also has a lot of hidden apps that you might no care for that just usage hard drive space and that it. I just wanted the app and no the BS that come with it. Thanks. I guess I will buy me a real scanner.

  One town and you can listen to Paducah Ky online, if and when something happens.

  Download program and start the executable file, that's it! Crystal clear and loud volume, not muddled like other scanners.

  Cons

  Only police site is Paducah, Ky. Would be great if you could enter in a frequency or many frequencies.

  Summary

  If you like to hear Paducah's "finest" police reports and don't care about other frequencies, then this is just fine.
