Peace Officer Background Investigation Tracking System (POBITS) is designed to assist public and private sector agencies and industries to track the progress of background investigations being performed on candidates for employment positions which require higher standards of personal character and integrity.

POBITS is particularly well suited for agencies that hire sworn peace officers, but can be useful to any organization or agency where numerous candidates are simultaneously processed through background investigations or hiring processes that involve the accumulation of background investigative data. This is the program I've been waiting for years to have. I'm certain my supervisor will authorize the purchase due to the low cost and amount of time it will save. This will organize a process that's been a mess for too long!

Summary
I have been searching a database that would perform all of the functions I needed to track the hundreds of applicants I process every year. I do believe that I have now found it. So far POBITS has done everything I have been hoping for. Data is readily available when I need it, with a few key strokes.
