Developer’s Description

By E. Reid and RIGiD
Use alternate layouts for the standard Macintosh color table to get the gradients you want.
Pixel Picker 256 is a simple DocMaker document containing two alternate layouts for the standard Macintosh color table viewed at 256 colors (8-bit). It accurately represents all 256 colors normally available in the standard ResEdit 8-bit color picker. It lays them out in such a way that you are more likely to find the colors and gradients you are looking for if you often deal with icon resources and 8-bit graphics. It may also be useful for programmers and multimedia producers wanting to select a palette of colors for 8-bit monitor levels. You should use these tables in conjunction with an app that captures color attributes of any pixel on the screen, like PixelSpy or ColorSieve.
