  Summary

  I was looking for lost ip address on a print server device. This little app did the job in no time and has zero learning curve. It's small, there is no bloat and no installation needed, just run the executable file. It's also totally free, no nags, no termination date, just like the good old days. Really good software. My thanks to the author<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jan 5, 2011<p/>I forgot to mention that even though it's not listed in the compatible OS list it ran on my Windows 7 box without a hitch.

  Pros

  Simple, effective, efficient. Ping Range quickly searches the range of IPs assigned and returns active clients along with MAC, host name, and other useful information.

  Cons

  I haven't found any disadvantages to what this simple tool was meant to do.
