PianoPub for Mac enables you to listen to Pandora from a tiny desktop app rather than the Web site, itself. Inside the software you'll find all the essential features of the popular music service: the ability to rate and skip tracks, radio station management, bookmarking and liking of songs and artists, and even support for the Apple remote. Unfortunately, Pandora is currently available in three countries only (counting the US), so you may not be able to use the app in your location.
After launching PianoPub for Mac, you will be prompted to log in using your Pandora credentials. The app interface is OK -- nothing special. PianoPub features the ability to auto-play a predetermined station upon startup, supports notifications when the song changes, and lets you bookmark the currently playing song or artist. A nice touch is the song explanation, where you can read the artist's remarks regarding the current song. The overall performance of the app was good during our tests; there was no stuttering or distortions regardless of the audio quality selected.
PianoPub can make listening to Pandora more convenient. If you're a fan of the popular music service, you will definitely appreciate the app and should download and try it out. But if you live outside the few countries where the service is available, the app is useless, unless of course you use a VPN or other proxy service.
