Pros
It's lightweight and feature packed. Runs great on my piddly netbook. I've ditched all the usual resource-hogging IDEs in favor of this. It has everything you would require for php project development. Well except...
Cons
...except that you can't assign a project to an ftp account for synchronizing. Hopefully this will appear soon.
Summary
I don't know why it's called phpDesigner and not phpDeveloper as that's what it excels at. Boots fast and doesn't steal half a gig of ram for opening a document.
Nice to have a portable version of the software.
