  Pros

  Once installed (french or english), you just open the directory where are your pictures, then rigth click on any picture to see a prewiew with a sub-menu to rotate or change the size. You have the choice to rename the file with a prefix or suffix or keep the same name with an automatic backup in a subdirectory.

  Cons

  Lack of documentation. There is a more recent version (1.4) but I get an annoying error message every time I change a picture, but still work fine (was on Windows 98).

  Pros

  Does what it says on the tin, converts and reduces the file size of images; no real problems so far.

  Cons

  At first I was looking for an exe link on the programs menu, desktop, anywhere and I couldn't find one. Finally the penny dropped and I realised that you had to right click the images you wanted to convert. This isn't bad, but when clicking "reduce", which is in English, you are presented with a screen which is entirely presented in some other language (Spanish I think). The program is very simple and you can generally work out what it means though. It would be better if it told you it was a "right-click" menu program though! Obviously better language support is a must.
