Demo seemed to work but no possibility to use any aperture library with the paid version of the software. Their support claimed they were working on a fix (have said this since november 6 or so) and today said they have more important things to fix before getting to fix this... I certainly cannot recommend this.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Very nice slide shows. And not expensive ! I've noticed that the animated slide shows take up quite a lot of proccessor power so a fast Mac is recommended. It has good options and for sure a fun way to present your photos.

I use it to create presentations for my photo classes and clients. I own all the similart apps that I know of, but when I need to get things done fast, and make it a great show, this one can't be beat.

OK, I'm not really interested in saving my screen, it's an LCD after all, I just like to leave nice pictures on it when I'm away from my desk. This app has loads of features, looks nice, is very responsive, takes negligible CPU power and has a small memory footprint. It's intuitive - I've got it doing everything I want and haven't looked at the documentation yet. The effects are tasteful, varied, and pretty. Bravo. There are only a few things I'd ask for: - more parameters to adjust, for example with the Ken Burns effect I'd like to be able to control the speed of pan & zoom (min/max speeds), and also the min/max zoom levels as a percentage of image size. In the "Flying Through" style, I'd like to be abe to adjust the number of duplicate images shown, etc. etc. The more adjustments the better! - When an image is paused and the Ken Burns effect is active the KB effect doesn't seem to reverse direction and continue animating; it just gets slower and slower. It'd be nice if it kept animating. Two bugs: - the first time I exported a screensaver module the program hung with a spinning beachball. Worked fine next time. - The subfolder depth doesn't seem to be working. I set folder depth to something like 26, selected a folder with hudreds of images and subfolders to about 5 or 6 levels, but only got 42 images. When I selected one of the subfolders it found hundreds. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Anyway, I'm off to send Mr. Bovet my $8, add PhotoPresenter to FruitMenu and maybe an F-key, and will probably never use Apple's screen saver again.

Viewing the photos here gives a different experience. I do not know about Aperture, but for those who just want to watch their iPhotos, this is a great supplement.

First of all, it does not support Aperture yet. Second, no anti-alias makes the presentation ugly. Animation pause a little before it goes to next photo, my machine is very fast though.(Core 2 Duo) So definitely needs more work.

I was so disappointed that I began to write an email asking for a refund. Then I decided to try it on my 17" MacPro laptop and lo and behold I was in Slideshow heaven. Outstanding improvement to any other slideshow applications I know about. Do wish the author would make it clear up front that specifc display cards are needed to take advantage of all that this application can do. AntonZ Atlanta, GA

Kens Burn Effect also pauses before every photo change. Should these be fixed, I'll be all set to pay... but NOT now.
