  Pros

Don't know yet. Cannot use program until below question is answered

  Cons

Not intuitive. Where do I begin? Menu has no "Acquire" or "Scan photo (slide/negative)" option and procedure not addressed in the "Help" section. Am I supposed to guess? I can "Open" an already created file but, I can do that with any photo editing program. My scanner (Epson V200) already has native negative/slide software so what is this software supposed to improve?

  Summary

Software creator assumes one already has experience with negative/slide scanner software. If this be the case, why would I need to buy this? Will this improve what I can already do in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements after I scan in a negative with my native scanner software? Designer needs a step-by-step "Getting Started" Help file (By the time one is reading the provided help menu, the program is ALREADY installed. Why instructions on installation?) Purpose of software is truly confusing.
