InstaScrap is another photo editing and customization app, but it stands out in a crowded field due to the range of features it offers and the relative polish on things like text tagging and stickers. Where some apps will use low quality clip art or system fonts that can appear blocky and washed out when added to a photo, some work was put into ensuring the effects you apply to your images in InstaScrap look good.

When you load up InstaScrap you can select a photo from your device or take a new one and then choose a frame from the bar at the top of the app. The app then loads an editing screen where you can change the border, change its thickness or color, add text or stickers, or tweak the layout of the photo. Any given element you add can be adjusted as well with different colors, shades, or opacity. While there is nothing new here, the layout is done in an intuitive fashion so you won't have trouble finding any of the functions it offers. It also runs fairly quickly so editing and finalizing a photo doesn't take much time at all, especially after you learn where everything is.

InstaScrap is free and ad-supported. It does have a few rough edges including sometimes unresponsive sliders and a small selection of borders and stickers, but the ones that are there look quite good and run smoothly. This is a good photo customization tool and a worthy download for your phone.
