This screensaver helps celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles' first NFC championship season in 25 years, but some users may wish for more images and an larger feature set. The program features action shots of the team's biggest stars, inlcuding quarterback Donovan McNabb and running back Brian Westbrook. All the images are of an excellent quality, but since this screensaver only offers six pictures, casual football fans may quickly grow bored. It's also a shame that the application lacks a soundtrack of any kind and doesn't offer a single user-customization option. Still, since it is totally free and doesn't serve up adware, we think hard-core devotees of the Philadelphia Eagles won't have as many complaints as we do.

Pros
Pretty pictures, as long as you don't mind burn in.
Cons
The purpose of a screensaver is NOT just to have something pretty on your monitor when you're not using your PC. It is to KEEP STATIC IMAGES FROM BURNING INTO YOUR MONITOR! This screen saver has an Eagles logo in the bottom right corner that NEVER GOES AWAY OR CHANGES! THIS IS WHAT A SCREENSAVER IS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT YOU FROM! THIS DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF A SCREENSAVER! For this to be something that was reviewed by Download.com editors and given a rating of three with this CRITICAL FLAW is a sad testiment to the editors reviewing this stuff. Shame, shame, download.com. You should post a WARNING! BEWARE! WILL CAUSE MONTIOR BURN-IN!
