Phalanx Security Response Ticker (German) for Windows

Keeping up with the latest releases on security issues is a lot easier with this Internet Explorer toolbar add-on. Installing Phalanx added a button that opened a functional vertical pane on the side of our browser window.

From that pane, we were able to select a source for security news from a drop-down list, which included us-cert.gov, Microsoft.com, Oracle.com, SecurityFocus.com, and several more. Clicking a link from the resulting list quickly opened the specified page from the site.

With so many vulnerabilities cropping up in the ever-growing number of programs now available, Phalanx is very handy because it compiles many of the top security news sources in one accessible format. Recommended for anyone who's security conscious or whose job requires them to keep up to date on patches and updates.
