  Pros

  This kit will help you create pre-set batch files that are like profiles for editing large quantities of file that (for instance); need to be organized in succession: like a database generates a primary key field, which has no duplicates. So Thanks to 'Peter' for finally understanding and publishing - for FREE - no nagging, no expiration; some software that can actually save me a world of time. And space.

  Omfg, after years of searching for renaming utilities for various batch rename functions (ie rename by parent folder(s)), I stumble upon this one. It renames using every single method I need and 100 I don't (yet). <p> <p>Thankyou Peter *sniff*

  Very powerful. Familiar interface. Looks great for power users. Looks like the author is very attentive and makes himself readily available to help and answer questions. Forum also available.

  Not for the computer illiterate. You should be knowledgeable of, at a minimum, basic file renaming.

  It does allow changing. adding, removing almost anything in the filename.

  Cons

  It is very powerful with many options and, as such, requires some forethought and experimentation to get very complex naming. Manual is a bit light.

  I was able to easily rename and organize all of my photo files using PFrank. Lots of cool options and all for free! Highly recommended!

  I was going to use it to rename video-files but I didn't understand how to use it. To complicated user interface for such a small program.
