• This program saved my butt when I had to take algebra!

  This program not only shows the user the answer, but it shows to get the answer!

  NONE AT ALL!!

  Summary

  My youngest daughter is in college in Arkansas for a teaching degree and, like her mother, algebra is not her strongest suite! I advised her to get this program for, not only herself, but for her two daughters!!

  Gives wrong answers to anything but the simplest problems

  Gives answers to problems that don't rally require much help. Freezes or gives wrong answers to most harder problems.

  It works out your homework if you can work out how to use it

  Difficult to use. Find the same information online for your algebra problems with much easier calculators. Almost impossible to get information on how to enter difficult equations

  What a waste of money! I can get the answers for my problems online with free calculators but purchased Algebra Tutor to show me the how an why. The online calculators are far more user friendly. This product is useless. The website touts great customer service but once you purchase this product there is no customer service.

  Pros

  It gives step-by-step instructions on how to solve problems and equations. It solves more complex problems than other math tutor programs.

  Cons

  You need a manual to learn how to input the equations. This actually extended my homework time instead of shortening it. Sometimes the program closed on me for no apparent reason, too.

  I finally kept a promise to myself to return to school and finish my bachelors degree. I subscribed to Personal Algebra Tutor to help me with my Algebra classes. I cannot tell you how much I have been pleased with the personal service and support from the staff a CyberEd Inc. Their product accomplished everything it promised and the staff assisted me when I did not know how to operate the product. I am scheduled to graduate this semester and I could not imagine how difficult it would have been without the support I recieved from the staff at CyberEd Inc. Thank you for such a great product and customer service.
