PeakVisor for iOS

PeakVisor is a travel app designed for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly mountaineers and sightseers. It provides crucial information about nearby peaks, including their names, altitudes, and positions relative to the user. By utilizing the device's camera and location services, the app creates an augmented reality experience, allowing users to simply point their phone at the horizon to receive real-time data about the landscape. This feature makes it an invaluable tool for those exploring mountainous regions or enjoying scenic views.

The application enhances the user's experience by overlaying a virtual skyline that highlights the surrounding peaks and their respective elevations in meters. Additional features include a compass and the ability to track the sun's path across the sky. Users can capture and download images with the information displayed, which can be accessed offline, ensuring functionality in remote areas. PeakVisor also supports panoramic 3D photography, enabling users to document their surroundings while retaining essential data about the landscape.
