Handy Utility
meoww- Pros
- Cons
- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Neat little utility which is much cheaper than paying whatever the going rate of the full version of Acrobat is when you only need digital signatures. Easy interface (assuming you know what a digital ID file is). Would be great if you could save the preferences then drop a file or folder over the application, type in a password and you're done. Having to drop the digital ID file in each time is one more step that could be avoided. Doesn't allow the creation of digital signature ID files but it never said it did. Each of the documents I tested the signature was valid using Acrobat 8.
No instructions and not intuitive

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This product probably works fine, but there is no logical way append a signature. The instructions are only to select the file and click START. But the program requires that you set a "Digital ID File..." and there is no explanation of how to do this. No files register as valid to be used as the Digital ID, so I am left unable to use it. Incidentally, the only entry in the developer's forum asks this same question and has no response from the developer or other users. Not a good sign.
