  Never seen so much bloatware attached to one product.. both before and after install...hidden/greyed checkboxes etc etc. AVOID this software. CNET - What on earth are you doing carrying this trash on your site???

  Pros

  None. Stay away from this product. There are better products - by the same name, no less - that are completely free. If I could assign a negative rating, I would.

  Cons

  This product is NOT the PDF Creator that is found on SourceForge (which is incidentally FREE). It is an imitation product that, among other things, installs a PDF Creator toolbar.

  Summary

  Very disappointed in C-NET. This is clearly a product that is mimicking the original PDF Creator, but as a pay-product. You do NOT get the choice to install without the BS search toolbar. The program also does not warn you that all browser windows are about to be forcibly closed. Not only did this software install an unwanted search toolbar in both IE and Firefox - when I tried to uninstall the toolbar, it crashed my machine.

  Impossible to get into this program. It did not load as it says it will. Once it was installed there was no access to it.

  Summary

  I have no clue how it got so many stars. It is unusable This says it is malware free but I got all kinds of weird stuff and error codes wanting me to purchase into other offers. I had to uninstall and reinstall this several times before I finally gave up.

• Tried a few other programs - only one that worked

  Pros

  I tried a few other popular programs, this one installed with no problems and did not hang when I went to use it unlike the others. I'm using Win7 64-bit.

  Cons

  None - I'm using this for basic PDF file creation, works well. There is mention of a two week trial in the review, I've just seen a donate option in the program.

  Summary

  Give it a try if you are looking for a file to PDF.

  Pros

  Easy to use. PDF Creator becomes a printer in the print options of any program making it easy to create a PDF from almost anything. Allows you to combine multiple files into one PDF.

  Cons

  No program of its own means that you have to open multiple programs if you want to create a PDF from two places (like Word and Excel).

  Summary

  Working in a virtual office, I like the convenience of being able to create a PDF and email it to anyone in one easy step (to email immediately after creating the file is an option you can turn on). Send a word doc or some other doc that can be easily manipulated means that my message can be changed along the way. But with a PDF I don't have any worries of this. I recommend this program for anyone that needs a quick way to make a PDF.

  Free download. Quick and easy to use. Works nicely with Microsoft Office and most web browsers (including Google Chrome). Makes good quality PDF files.

  Cons

  Help is only available online.

  Summary

  This is a great program. With it being free and the ease of use, I have found it to be a very convenient way to create PDFs for any purpose. I highly recommend this program for anyone that needs to share documents and prefers to use PDFs so that they cannot be manipulated.

  Pros

  Creates a perfect PDF from any file. Easy to use - the same as printing to a standard printer. Toolbar allows one-click PDF creation of any website.

  Cons

  Preferences is hard to find since it is a separate program to open.

  Summary

  This program does exactly what it says. It will make a PDF of any file. I can quickly share a website with a friend that doesn't have full internet access for some reason by creating a PDF and emailing it to them in just a couple easy steps. With the toolbar installed, this is even easier. PDF Creator can make a PDF of almost any file including power point presentations and excel sheets. I have yet to find a file it can't convert!
