  Hmm... Let me think for a millennium or two..

  Cons

  You know how Hotspot Shield puts advertisements at the top of your browser? This is five score (20) times worse. It puts ads and pop-ups EVERYWHERE, and they don't help you at all.

• Infects your computer with Adware!

  Pros

  None. This is adware.

  Cons

  Creates fake pop up ads whenever you surf the web. Hijacks clicks on real websites to redirect you to fake survey sites. This program installed itself as part of a download.com bundle. I used to trust donwload.com to be adware free, but now I'm questioning that!

• Avoid - Makes Multiple (Hidden) Copies of Itself

  None to speak of.

  Cons

  This application will make copies of itself and tuck them into Hidden temp folders. Thus, it is very difficult to remove.

  Summary

  I never intended to download this application, but it must have snuck in with another download. No idea what it does, so it may very well be great for its intended purpose. However, its self-replication makes it incredibly questionable. After uninstalling Outobox from Control Panel, I searched for it on my computer and found nothing. Then I did an advanced search (including non-indexed locations & hidden folders) and found two more copies of it. Dude, stay away.
