Instantly access a key in RegEdit using this tiny Firefox add-on. Open in RegEdit's interface is simply an option in your Firefox context menu. The program installs quickly and cleanly through Firefox. It needs no Help menu, options, or user training.
Operating Open in RegEdit is as simple as its name. Highlight any Windows Registry key mentioned on any Web site and choose Open in RegEdit from your context menu. RegEdit then opens to that precise key. If that key doesn't exist, RegEdit opens as far down the tree as possible. Speed and simplicity are this program's prime strengths.
However, invoking this add-on when RegEdit is open fails to highlight the correct key. RegEdit merely comes forward displaying the previously highlighted key. Even with that minor problem, any user who delves into the Registry will want to install this free add-on.
