- You can set up a booking system for your hotel and integrate it quite easily into your website for guests to send a reservation request to you.
- Cons
- The freeware version I am reviewing does not MAKE a reservation. It simply shows online folks whats available and creates an email sent to you you with their info and dates requested meaning you have to call them back, get the CC info. confirm the res etc etc and besides seeing if there are rooms available the rest can be done by a simple email.
- Summary
- For about $11 American a month with a one year contract you can unlock everything you really need to make this outstanding software and if you are willing to pay it really really is. (Please note one bug: if using Firefox browser you can not use the password manager for this site. If you do not manually enter it it will not let you in) The freeware version doesn't do anything more than create a fancy email to you with someone's information requesting a room. It does not take credit cards, nor does it book the room. And most annoyingly when setting up your open periods and season rates it does not allow you to insert a special higher or lower rate for a holiday weekend with in a season. (i.e. "Summer" period rooms are $75 a night but July 4th weekend $104 rather than just change the price for that weekend you have to end the summer period, create a July 4th period then create a Summer 2 period after July 4th to the next date you want the rates to change then you have to go and apply the rates you want to every room type you have for every period you create.) To circumvent this and just put "Varies" or "Contact Us for Rates" and not enter any amount for room rates then the program just blocks the rooms as unavailable making it worthless or WAY more time consuming that I have to sit around and fill out all that information over and over and over every time I need the rates to change. This all goes away if you pay but 5 stars for Freeware? huh uh. Unless you pay (which unlocks 5 star worthy software) this is more trouble than its worth.
