  This product is fast and easy to use. I created flowcharts which looked the way I wanted and had the complexity and flexibility in design and look that I needed. Excellent interface and help completed the decision for me.

  I have not had the need to try other products since this product came on the market. I have used other good programs that were furnished by the companies that I worked for but they did not meet my needs. Most of them were too structured. As each edition of this program came on the scene my job as a Quality Assurance Engineer became simpler. <p>I not only use the program for Org and Flow charts; I use it for genealogical timelines and story lines.

  Chartist has grown into a robust and versatile tool, which is not only easy to use but also produces OUTSTANDING models/diagrams. It is one of the first programs I load on any new machine, as I depend on it to make my living. The newest version provides a rich palette of shapes, colors and styles, which I use to produce great looking charts. It's an invaluable tool for data or process modeling, as well as logic or org charting.

  Cons

  All of my requests for enhancements have been added to the latest version, and I have not found ANY "Cons" with the system!

  I have used Novagraph's Chartist for elaborating complex logical frameworks for internaitonal development programs and knowledge management for USAID. The new version of Chartist is especially useful for importing charts into other programs like MS Word and PowerPoint.
