It Will not replace ANY system files, or change ANY file permissions, trigger Windows File Protection warnings (WFP), run all the time, won't take up any system resources in the background, doesn't require special support by the alternative application, and just un-install Notepad Replacer to revert back to the default Windows Notepad.

Does exactly what its name says

Pros
-Works easily and quickly -Doesn't trip some malware software to reset it to Notepad.exe every boot -Allows every program that automatically opens notepad to see text files in your preferred and usually more powerful text editor.
Cons
Some overaggressive security software won't allow you to change notepad from default text editor and don't have the ability to exclude or disable that function. This version fixes that for most security software I have used.
Summary
I used this for text editors and HTML editors and it is simple and is very handy if you use alternate text editors more than Notepad.exe
