Note & Chord Recognition - Sound to Sheet Music for Android

Note & Chord Recognition - Sound to Sheet Music is a multimedia application designed for musicians who wish to convert audio into sheet music. This app offers features such as pitch detection for vocals, guitar, and piano, allowing users to analyze their performances and gain insights into their musical accuracy. By listening to the audio, it generates alternative sheet music representations, which can assist in songwriting and practice sessions. The app's chord recognition capabilities include major and minor chords, along with major and minor 7th variations, making it a versatile tool for various musical styles.

Although the app provides helpful suggestions based on the audio input, users should be aware that the accuracy of detection can vary, particularly in complex arrangements. For optimal results, it is advisable to limit the audio input to a single instrument, positioning the device strategically to enhance sound clarity. The app is continually evolving, with planned updates that will introduce features like audio import, tab sheets, and scale detection, further expanding its utility for musicians.
