NotchPrompter puts a teleprompter right in your MacBook's camera notch. It's a free, open-source utility for anyone who needs a little help during presentations. The floating window stays on top and out of the way.

  • Pros

    • Brilliantly uses the notch as a feature, not a bug | Always-on-top window is surprisingly useful | Voice control means hands-free scrolling. Nice! | Helps avoid awkward eye movements

  • Cons

    • Can sometimes appear in screen recordings, which defeats the purpose | It's a one-trick pony; don't expect a lot of features | Requires a MacBook with a notch, obviously
