The alerts are customized by the user, which means that you get to pick how you want your phone to alert you that there is no phone signal. Additionally it can also alert you as soon as the signal is back, allowing you to resume your activities. All of these events will be tracked down and recorded in the application's log book, where you will be able to look at these events and sort them out based on category.
