Nike+ Running is an attractive and reliable program that keeps a log of your running history and offers tools to improve your abilities. The new coaching plans, built-in challenges, and social media integration are exciting, and performance is nearly perfect.
Pros
Interactive coaching: The latest update improved the Nike+ Coach system that offers a variety of workouts for a range of difficulty levels. We found the encouragement features and live updates motivating. The Facebook and friend tools are a neat way to challenge and support friends.
Beautifully crafted: Nike+ Running is a spacious and elegant application, offering many animated features that grab your attention. The sidebar menu system is cleverly designed, and our tests showed that performance is usually top-notch.
Detailed reporting: Even when our GPS lost signal with Nike+ Running, our runs were still easily tracked with this program. The mileage tracking tools are excellent, especially the ability to track individual data for specific pairs of shoes. Workout monitoring can be customized for indoor or outdoor use, providing more reliable coverage.
Cons
Display glitches: The Nike Shop always loaded with display errors during our tests but would usually correct itself after a few moments. This was the only error that we noticed with this application, so you should not be too concerned.
Bottom Line
Nike+ Running is an excellent data-tracking resource, and thanks to the 1.4.1 update, it offers many more engaging features. Nike+ Running is an excellent resource for all runners, so you will not be disappointed.
