From fake shots, stumble passes, and one-timers to dump-ins, deflections and hooking, NHL Powerplay 98 brings realistic hockey action to your desktop. You'll learn how to skate all over again when you encounter this game's slippery, accurate skating physics, and gameplay is bigger and badder than ever with Powerplay's superior AI, which contains the skill of more than 650 players and 26 NHL teams playing true to life. Graphics are based on motion-captured player models--no boxy sprites here--in an on-the-fly 3D environment for in-your-face action. Five playable camera angles are possible for total visual control. This demo lets you play two five-minute periods between the Detroit Red Wings and the Philadelphia Flyers.
This game is very bad for it's playability and features. It just puts me into a game of 1st-Graders!
Great for it's price. Bad compared to NHL 98

Summary
This game is great for it's price, especially if you get it for $4 at Wal-Mart like I did. It costs $34.99 retail, which is cheap compared to NHL 98's $69.99. The system requirements are very low so it doesn't matter what speed your computer is. The controls can be troublesome to assign. The one thing I did not like, was how all the player's faces were all the same. Also, the announcer only talks when something big happens(ie. goal, injury, period end), unlike NHL 98 when the announcer talks during the whole play time. This game is good if you desperate to play any hockey. Compared to NHL 98, it's not the greatest game.
