This program was easy to install and download.
Cons
The layout of the program is outdated and confusing. This would not be a problem if the program actually worked. I've read threw the entire help section and I can't get the program to do any more then simply know what is going on in my computer. It WON'T STOP OR BLOCK ANYTHING. This program may be some useful to very very very advanced computer users. It is extremely confusing!

#1 among CNET member reviews... And yes, it was very good. But isn't there a decent free one out there? A free firewall with a decent rating? All the free ones don't seem to have very good ratings. <p> <p>I paid for a firewall once and regretted it. I bought Sygate's Firewall Pro, but a year after I bought it they went out of business. Within 3 years of my purchase and with Sygate being gone - there were no signature updates or firewall updates or even upgrades to a better version. <p> <p>Call it paranoia, but I don't want to 'buy' a firewall again. Not willing to take the chance. I'll stick with something free, but I haven't found one yet.

Very good analyzing capabilities and an interface that wasn't really very hard to use at all. Of course, I like exploring hardware by clicking on things to see how they work and what they lead me to - others may feel different. <p> <p>The only problem I'm running into is the lack of funds. I'd like to buy it - but the price is a bit high for me. It's a shame too, because I really like it. <p> <p>That kind of happens a lot though, so I was forced to find another tool that could analyze for less or for free. But if you have the money, I think it may be worth your while.

but an excellent product....too heavy for my 256M, so I downgraded to the free-version which is actually the easiest on ram that I've found. (other than windows f/w) I found the ability to define the ruleset much "tighter" than ZA!
Cons
already have enough s/w-scanners, so this just weighed my system down....if it out-performed A2 & SuperAntiSpyware, I'd consider the switch!
