MySiderealTime is a useful Sidereal Clock utility to assist you while you use your telescope and mount during your astronomy viewing session or for your night of astrophotography. The local sidereal time is displayed in hours minutes and seconds in 24 hour format. The local time is also displayed, and by tapping the local time, it will toggle between 12 and 24 hour formats. Latitude and Longitude can be displayed in either decimal degrees or in degrees, minutes, seconds. Tapping the Latitude and Longitude display will toggle between formats. The display defaults to night vision mode as to not disturb your night vision. For viewing indoors or in bright sunlight, the display can be switched to day vision mode by tapping on the sun icon. The display can be switched back by tapping on the moon icon. The device GPS sensor is used to determine your exact location so the correct Sidereal Time can be displayed along with your latitude and longitude coordinates. The display will also show the current GMT, your local offset from GMT, and if (DST) Daylight Savings Time is in effect.
