My World Cup 2006 is a football (soccer) management program for the upcoming FIFA 2006 World Cup to be held in Germany. It consists of one main screen where you can enter all the scores and immediately see the resulting standings and later match-ups. It's a very convenient and easy way to follow the World Cup, create what-if scenarios, and make predictions. Some of the program's features include multi-language support (English, French, and Spanish), game times displayed according to the time zone you select, a chronological schedule of all games, team highlighting, showing the date, time, and city where the game is played when hovering over a match-up, stadium information, links to relevant Web sites, and the ability to print a report.

Version 1.4 added print capabilities to the chronological schedule, and enhanced and debugged the sorting routines in the code.

The product allows you to play with the "what if" scenarios of the tournament. I liked that the utility highlighted my favorite team for easy following of their performance.

Easy to use, and I find myself checking out the progress of my favorite teams daily. Great idea and loads of fun for all futbol fans!!!

once scores are entered, everything updates automatically. Easy to save information. <p>can make predictions of future matches and scores, that can be easily deleted to keep real data. <p>Absolutely no pop ups and advertising.

it does not include the nation flags, that could be a plus

This is so very useful for football (soccer) fans the world over. It has just about everything you need. Download thw World Cup Toolbar, very, very neat, and you have it all! 6 stars if it were possible.

Works as advertised. No bugs. Nice to see the entire worldcup layout in one view. <p>Clicking on your team highlites all occurences in red. Hover over a team so see the game time (in your time zone) and location. Enter guess scores to see next round possibilities... VERY NICE - All you need on one screen.

ACTUALLY I WANT TO RATE IT 4 AND 1/2. <p>1) It is simple to use. <p>2) You can save and print the data. <p>3) You can use your language, favourite team and timezone. Our favourite team is displayed in blue. <p>4) It displays game shedule according to our timezone. <p>5) It has Ranking Criteria. <p>6) It has the images and other things for stadiums (This is awesome!) <p>7) It has internet links to fifa etc. <p>8) This program is optimized for use with a 1024x768 screen area (in order to fit everything on one screen). Higher or lower screen areas are fine, but it won't look as good! (i.e., you will need to scroll to see some parts of the screen).
Cons
1) It doesn't have the time zone which I wanted: (GMT + 05:30) Bombay, Calcutta, Madras, New Delhi. <p>2) It doesn't tell the meanings of the terms Pts, P, W, T, L, GF, GA, Diff which are used in the program.
