Pros

Slick design: Version 3.2.9 of My Mixtapez is smooth and well organized, and you'll enjoy the rich amount of album art that covers the home screen. Advertisements are neatly blended into this application, and we were very impressed by the fact that sponsors' commercials play at a lower volume than the music.

Great features: Aside from adding favorites and playlists, My Mixtapez now features a comment section that we observed to be very active. Downloading songs for offline listening is a fast process, with most songs taking only a few seconds over all connection types.

Social network integration: The Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking tools, improved by the latest update, are easy to use and offer premade messages for quick sharing. Your My Mixtapez account can easily be created by entering your Google credentials as well.

Cons

Buggy search tool: Although the search tool has improved considerably, most notably by including real-time feedback, it still underperforms in yielding accurate results. We occasionally did not receive any results at all during our tests despite entering accurate search information.

Bottom Line

My Mixtapez is a fast and uncomplicated streaming and downloading service, and you will enjoy the new features contained in version 3.2.9. We recommend Mixtapez improve its search feature; but at the end of the day, we found this application to be incredibly useful and a great download.
