My INR+ is designed to empower patients to better monitor their INR reading and prescribed Warfarin or Coumadin. This is an easy to use app that allows you to manage, track and record your INR readings, prescribed anticoagulant medication and future appointments with your GP, anticoagulant clinic or physician. During oral anticoagulant therapy it is important and highly recommended that you accurately monitoring your INR to ensure appropriate dosages are being prescribed and for a better health outcome.My INR+ has been designed for patients who are using Warfarin or Coumadin and are required to self-test or would like to take a more active role in monitoring their treatment. There are many conditions which require INR monitoring such as atrial fibrillation, cardiomyopathy, pulmonary embolus, stroke and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) amongst many others. This is achieved through a regular blood test called an INR test. If your INR reading is too high, you are at greater risk of bleeding, so your dose may need to be reduced.
