Manage and organize your music files.

MusicZen is an incredibly simple utility that will allow you to organize your mp3 files by moving, naming, and placing them into the directory structure of your choice based on the file tags.To get started, you simply specify the source and destination folders and click 'Organize'. MusicZen will then search for any .mp3 files under your source folder (including sub-directories) and move or copy the files to the destination folder. Along the way, it will rename the files and build the directory structure of your choice. If the files you are trying to move have duplicates, MusicZen will transfer only one copy of the file to the destination folder and leave the duplicate in the source folder. At the end of the run, it will let you know how many duplicates it found.MusicZen will not tag your music files; rather, it will read the existing tags in your mp3 files and use this information to create the directories and the name of your files. If MusicZen does not find this information, it will place the files in an "Unknown" folder.

Completely destroyed my music library

I have meticulously maintained my library and just wanted to move the library from an internal hard drive to an external, Wi-Fi hard drive. I lost many albums, every single album was renamed without the year released, every cover.jpg was lost and compilations were split up by artist, instead of by album by using this program. I now have 100's of hours to spend, again, to determine what artist, albums are missing and re-ripping, renaming everything, adding cover art and tagging. Thank You Very Much! I was wondering what to do with my "spare" time.
Summary
Do not download or use this program if you already have an organized music library. If you have a chaotic library, this may help you. But from my experience, I wish I would have never used this program. Good Luck
