Will not recognize iPod on my machine.
Summary
Even though my machine and itunes both recognize my iPod, Musicsafe will not (with itunes open, per instructions). useless.
RUBBISH. PROGRAM WON'T OPEN. NO TECH SUPPORT!!

Summary
I bought this software from Amplify Software's site. Downloaded it and installed it but every time I try to open it, I get a message that the program has to close. Before I bought it, I read in other reviews that this problem happened for people using Windows Vista. I use XP Home so I wasn't concerned and went ahead with the purchase. Not a wise move since the program is rubbish. Don't waste your money on this. PayPal won't help either since it's software (an intangible as they call it). John

None so far - works great on my new Vista laptop (Dell).
Summary
I lost my girlfriend's laptop. She was mad, but luckily it was insured. Unfortunately, all of her iTunes music was now gone and locked on her iPod. I did a quick search on download.com, found MusicSafe, paid $10 bucks and backed up everything on her iPod onto my laptop in ten minutes. Booyah!

Usually with programs like this support is either bad or non-existent. To my surprise, when I asked a question on a Sunday, I got a response within two hours! Running iTunes on my Vista machine was not an option, so this works great for me. The only thing I'd like to see is the ability to change the format of files that are backed up. I mentioned this to support and they told me they have put it on a list of feature requests made from users and it will be included in the next version. How cool is that!
Used the trial on Vista, worked great! Bought it too!

Summary
I am not exacly a power user, and was wondering if it would work with Vista. I used the trial first, everything worked fine, then bought the product after the trial ran out. I did research, and bought what was the easiest iPod product to use. The trial is 7 days, not 3 like the description says -nice bonus - but why would anyone buy the product without using the free trail first? No problems so far, so I'm happy. I saw some of the reviews were trashing muliple iPod products - I guess it's easier for competitors to write bad reviews of other products than fix their own products. My bottom line is use the trial before you buy to see if it works for you, and try this product! You will like it - even using Vista!

The ease of use and the interface is exceedingly intuitive. I was able to plug and use in minutes. Very easy to use and a solid product. Beats any thing out in the market.

Pros
The MusicSafe is very easy to use and looks good. Copying songs from iPods to the PC is fast and works. I bought two copies for my machines. The price is better than the others and I like it.
Cons
Nothing bad to say - bought two copies one for my old XP machine and one for my new Vista machine. Both work great.
Summary
Product does a very good job as advertised for copying music to and from iPod. No problems and the price is half of the others which is very nice too.

Summary
Installed this software and try to run the program. Immediately got the "MusicSafe has stopped working" dialogue box from Vista. Vista attempted to repair without success. I tried uninstalling, re-installing, and repairing multiple times to no avail. WASTE OF TEN BUCKS!!!
