Music Library is a CDDB-enabled comprehensive music database manager designed for MP3 and music collectors. It lets you catalog any music files or media (such as MP3s, WMAs, OGGs, FLACs, MPCs, APEs, M4As, WAVs, audio CDs, vinyl, and cassettes, etc.). Features include: Album info, lyrics and cover arts download. Access to CDDB2 online CD database. Mass tagging and file renaming (supports id3v1, lyrics tag, id3v2.3, id3v2.4, APE tag, WMA tag, OGG tag, etc.). Playlist generator and manager. MS Access database format. File/Album/track list report/printing.

HTML and ASCII text reports. Album thumbnail view. Classical music support. Artist/composer info and bio database. It also includes a MP3 player and a CD player. WinAmp and foobar2000 are also supported. Version 2.0 build 957 added support for: WMA, OGG, MPC, FLAC, APE, M4A/MP4 file types. Added support for the following tags: Lyrics tag, OGG tag, WMA tag, APE tag. Added a thumbnail view. Many other major enhancements.

I've been using this software for 4 years and am very satisfied with it. Even without major updates for a while, this program is still the best. I've tried many other programs and did not find one that can match Music Library. I am glad to see that the support forum is back online and major updates are planned. The developer has been very responsive on the forum.

Unstable, slow, no support, no plans for new releases and bug fixes...Finally, also the users Forum has gone.. <p>It 'could' be a good tool...but it is not, definitely. Does not worth the time for downloading it. Pity

Stable and reliable with cddb access.I compared this program with most others on the market and found it compared very favourably in the success of its ability to derive audio info from CDDB and extract tag info from Mp3s. The track ,album and other info is very clearly displayed and it is easy to browse this info. In no cases did I find that the scanning did not work. Nothing else came close for performance.

Appears lomited only to audio and mp3 files. Therefore has to be supplemented for other formats

This is the absolutely best music library programme I have found on the net. I?ve searched for a programme that could store my CD-collection and some information about it. This programme does exacly that. And the "Auto Search" function makes adding new records to your library a piece of cake. You just insert the CD and in just seconds the programme has found all necessary info. about your CD. No typing, just insert the next CD !!!

I've used Music Library for years, and have loved it, but it is no longer supported, and the feature of getting info from the internet no longer works. Alas, I've given up on it. Too bad. Media Monkey seems to be the new leader in music file organisation, and I'm quite happy with it. So, I hate to see Music Library go, but it's no longer worth your time to download it.

As a previous posted noted, absolutely NO response from tech support on issues. AMG/Musicmatch recently changed web page formats, and now Music Library's CDDb feature will not work. Emails to Tech Support on this go unanswered, no support forum. Too bad, was a great product until only recently
