This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I think the speed is still better with Sixtyforce, but Mupen seems to handle more rom files a LOT better whereas they just don't load up at all with sixtyforce.. Sound is pretty bad though, needs to be much faster in this dept! Gfx look cool and controls i like, fwiw.. Speed is slightly less than sixtyforce also. But this handles more rom files!!! :-) I look forward to the next versions!

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Performance wise this is still 1.5star software, but considering the current state of N64 emulation the author can hardly be blamed for this. It is really nice to be able to see your old favourite games in 1024x768, full-screen resolution.There are texture errors, 2d glitches, and the framerate makes the games unplayable., yet it still is a really nice application, and I can't wait to see it mature. PS. Don't enable the audio just yet, I got scared to death whilst trying Mario64.. you'll see.

That said if you get any N64 ROMs don't forget to visit my Carracho server The Jaguar's Roar this Fall. ;) I own ALL of the games I am looking for, I just want to play Smash, Mario Golf and Tennis, and Party and Zelda Perfect Dark/bond on the road on my PowerBook 12". Now I even have a controller. I am ready for a N64 emulator that actually works, bring it on!
