Mumble is great, just don't rent from Cooked Porkchop

- Here to warn you all about the service "Cooked Porkchop" I rented a 50 slot server from "Cooked Porkchop" two days ago. They failed to e-mail me the proper setup instructions. People that connected were randomly muted, and others said the server was "hacked/bugged". I asked for a refund, because I was dissatisfied with the service. They refused to give me one. Mumble is a great service, just STAY AWAY from "Cooked Porkchop" at any cost. I am sure there are plenty of great service out there, "Cooked Porkchop" just wants your money, because they don't care if you are dissatisfied, they just want your money. As for mumble, mumble is pretty awesome. For the record, mumble itself is great.

Mumble Messed up my machine

- No Pros ... BSOD and increased latency

- Proram messed up my PC .. afterdownload system restarted .. Tried to connect to server and reloaded my WoW .. my latency went up 300% after that I got a BSOD and system crashed. Tried to restart and immediately after the backround came up the BSOD popped up again. Thought "Maybe bad download" .. did a ROLLBACK to correct issue .. ran complete virus scan .. redownloaded Mumble from their main site ... same thing happened again ... THIS SOFTWARE SUCKS

- I've been using Ventrillo for a while because my friends liked using it, but recently the ventrillo server we were using was shut down. So we moved to a mumble server a friend hooked us up with and I'm curious as to why we never used it before. It sounds much better than Ventrillo and the annoying beep sounds you hear when you use push-to-talk is automatically disabled. I'll be using mumble from now on. :)

- It's a great product because it has NO latency. That is, it doesn't lag. Servers are cheap, and there are more options available. Also, in contrast to Ventrilo, it doesn't get packet flooded by angry children. It VERY rarely crashes.

- No complains really. I play gaming tournaments for cash and it's the best our team and our community has used. Almost everyone has moved/is moving over.

- As soon as I opened it everything was fine, I ran the setup help, then I wonted to connect to a server but I join I get a message saying, this is not a valid host and does not match any host name certificates, In the Microsoft Sam's voice, if you wont to connect to any Home made channel that message pops up and its annoying me, I feel like its copying Ventrillo. AND guess what..... If you need help with the software you have to log into a dutch website, to get help
