MT.aps Crystal Viewer APK for Android

With this application crystal structures are visualised and interactively animated.

This application visualizes the 14 Bravais Lattices in 3D, showing their atomic positions and lattice sites. Six different motifs are available. The 3D visualisation can be rotated and zoomed in while containing one or several unit-cells.

The app is intended to support students in materials science, solid state physics, chemistry and related subjects. It is developed in cooperation between the schools of 'Metallurgy and Materials' and 'Computer Science' at the University of Birmingham.
