This narrowly focused utility quickly performs the two jobs in its name. True to form, the application can merge multiple MP3s or MPEG movies, but it doesn't support any other audio or video formats. The small main window is a bit more cluttered than it needs to be, but since you can simply drag or drop files into its queue, most folks will find it a snap to operate. Users processing large batches of tunes or movies will appreciate the tools for sorting and locating duplicates, but unlike some more-comprehensive media utilities, this one can't convert or split files. Still, MP3 and MPEG Joiner is fast, merging two three-minute MP3s in under five seconds. However, if you want to join a lot of tracks, the demo won't be of much use, as it only lets you aggregate two files per session. Undemanding folks who only work with MP3s and MPEGs might find this no-frills utility a handy pickup.
